Making wine is nothing new to the Boulard family. For most of their 7 generations of growing fruit in Champagne, estate juice was blended into many great bottles of other winemaker's bubbly. But Francis Boulard saw things about his family's 35+ year old vines and treatment of the land differently. He spearheaded the transition to biodynamics and began bottling his own wines. Horses still plough the narrow strips between rows which later grow wild with native species that allow for pest protection without the use of chemicals. This purity shines through in wines that are balanced, fresh & modern.
